Reviewing the weekend further, I uncovered more errors, miscommunication and not following procedure.
Ksam and Samurai are idiots. The chain reaction of both working together means that it will never happen again.
Samurai's got too much gray hair to have performed like this. I like the guy but I don't know if he's capable

I have no real idea of exactly what you guys do on these projects.... but if the procedure is good.... then even i should be able to follow it (granted I might need a couple of "look over my shoulder runs" depending on how cryptic some of the hardware commands are.)
If you don't mind me asking, what are the "intern qualifications"?
I'm assuming these guys have BS in Info Systems. Maybe Comp Sci...

My group should only be for experienced people, it's too small.
A console operator w/3-5 yrs exp is the lowest experience I'd consider.
These guys aren't newbs and Ksam used to do construction work.
His daddy was a SVP on the software side do I believe thats protected him.
Samurai just has enough experience that it got him in as a temp and hired when a spot came open.
