"Mars," Sam said in the same tone he might use to express his utter delight at finding out he'd overdrawn his bank account. "It's just frakking lovely to see you too, neighbor."
"Terrifying as it is to realize we agree on something, the feeling's mutual," Sam retorted. "Of all the frakking towns to move to, did you have to pick mine?"
After Piper's visit with House, she was still feeling angry and hurt. She really just wanted to find her sister right now. When she saw Anders on the porch, she groaned and started to turn away toward her own home.
"Don't stop on my account," Sam said, back to stabbing the dandelion digger into the lawn with extra vigor after his conversation with Veronica. "Because frak knows I've already gotten my dose of antagonism from Mars tonight."
"Frakking hell." Sam sat back on his heels, completely disoriented by the lack of an opening volley. That was tantamount to a sign of the world endi -- bad analogy, but the implication remained. "What happened to you?"
