Well, that was a rather fabulous finale to what was already a brilliant series. :)

I love how Jim had to admit to his own limitations, that he wasn't invincible and shouldn't command as if he was - it was so tortuous, but so necessary.

The reunion with Spock was perfect. I love that Spock couldn't function properly without Jim there and once he saw him, he had to bond, his admission that even if Jim didn't want the bond, he didn't think he could turn and leave Jim and then there was the whole bonding scene and Jim's discovery of T'Pring and his immediate anger and jealousy, and I love the fact that their bond was unexpectedly deep. And the sex - oh hot or what?!

I loved this story from beginning to end and I want to rec the heck out of it, but you have it locked. Do you intend to keep it locked?

but as i thought two chapters back the only way for Jim to heal is with Spock as his side, in him, on him, surround him, you know!
and Spock will need him too as Jim was the sun and Spock was the air.
