I need help of the computer variety

I cannot tell you *how,* but I know that you *can.* I'm wireless on my laptop and my old desktop is no longer even connected.

My laptop is essentially where I manage the router from. I didn't set my system up, but when I helped set up a friend's laptop (with heavy phone support from a computer guru) we did it all on her laptop.
