In which great literature is mutilated...
I was struck by inspiration - if it can be called that - earlier today, and have rewritten Lolita in under four pages. So if you have some familiarity with the book, or have always wanted to read it but never gotten around to it, here you go.

OMG I hate roaches
There was a giant roach in my bathroom and it went running across my carpet and I tried to squish it with my house shoe and it wouldn't die and it just kept running in circles and I kept trying to kill it and I felt bad and oh god.
And then my brother told me to stop yelping like a chihuahua. -

Because I didn't have enough on my plate already...
In order to sharpen my creative writing skills (and shift my unproductive backside into gear), I've decided to undertake the challenge of writing fifty one-sentence stories for the Jeeves and Wooster fandom.
Here's hoping the results see the light of day sometime in the next century! -
