Galvatron is way, way less tolerant of take-over attempts that Megatron ever was.

Yup. Exactly. This is why take-over plots on the MUSH are relatively rare, despite occasional grumbling about how we should have more 'because we're Decepticons!'

"Okay, dude. You face the cannon. Leave me out of this."

Thinking it over, I have to disagree about that being the worst Megatron does to Starscream, though. I'm pretty sure I remember him shooting at him in MTMTE, after Starscream shot at Mirage, and he was unusually cruel in Hoist Goes to Hollywood, where he tore what looked to be rather important bits of Starscream out, and that time for something that wasn't even Starscream's fault!

Mm, fair point.

I just don't buy-in to the belief that Megatron goes out of his way to torment Starscream. He's very forgiving of the jet, considering how often Starscream tries and fails to usurp leadership.

And I really don't buy that Megatron fucks with Starscream's head. Starscream fucks with Starscream's head.

*waves* Heh, you mention my favourite TFs, I come out of the woodwork...

I think Galvatron does care about Cyclonus, in his own reckless crazy way. Galvatron is violent and he doesn't have any patience with anyone who can't keep up with him, sure, but he does care. Look at how he gives Cyc a hand up and then clasps his hand for a moment longer in The Burden Hardest to Bear. Or how he makes a point of insisting that he be properly repaired at the end of Starscream's Ghost. Or how when he's in desperate straits in Webworld, it's Cyclonus who he begs to help him. The dynamic certainly isn't all one way, at the very least.

I haven't yet seen The Burden Hardest to Bear yet. I just watched Dweller in the Depths last night, which had a scene where Cyclonus was yelling for Galvatron's help. Yes, Galvatron stopped and looked back, but I expected him to shoot the problem, too. Was rather disappointed when he didn't.

Otoh, the undead seem to really freak Galvatron out.

Yup!

He doesn't seem to comfortable with the zombies on the MUSH, either.

I'm agreeing with the above.

Cyclonus also cares about Scourge.

This also is a very important point that a lot of people miss. Scourge is part of the Triad dynamic, although his bond with the other two is nowhere near as strong as their bond with each other. But look how Cyclonus attempts to defend him during Ghost in the Machine instead of just outright shooting him.

"Galvatron is way, way less tolerant of take-over attempts that Megatron ever was."

I bet you that at least twenty Decepticons have been killed by Galvatron for being involved in take-over attempts that never existed outside of Galvatron's mind. He is a very paranoid man.

Onslaught: "I don't think doing a daylight charge over the Autobot's minefield is a good idea-"
Galvatron: "SO IT'S MUTINY, IS IT?! *kills Onslaught*"

Actually, Galvatron seems to shoot his own troops on the 'low' setting for his cannon. They always seem able to walk away after he's chastised them.

- Cyclonus is deeply (crazy-)loyal to Galvatron. Cyclonus also cares about Scourge.

I'm still not sure if Galvatron cares about Cyclonus. He certainly doesn't seem to care about Scourge.

All the more reason I remain secretly convinced that Skywarp = Cyclonus and Scourge = Thundercracker, just because I'm hopeless like that. ;p
