Well, the franchise definitely went out with a bang! And a coherent plot, thank the Lord.

I have to admit, Sam's hissyfits are epic. And I did like the humans-dangerous-to-Transformers angle.

I've seen a couple of people try to link all of Megatron's plans together, and it's another reason I wish they'd written the three movies together, to no only make the plots click but also to make Megatron a really compelling character ( ... )

I actually kind of like that plan. As it stands, I see "retrieve the Allspark" as Megatron's plan, then the next two movies are Megatron trying to pull something together now that the Allspark is destroyed and getting increasingly ground down and depressed.

Shockwave, sadly, is not a Decepticon named Megatron or Starscream, so he gets no characterization.

I wonder if the Fallen knew Megatron was striking deals with Sentinel Prime...?

Well, the movie-verse timeline on TFWiki sort of explains it all. There's time travel involved, and intersecting plots by everyone... (like the different writers from the movies, IDW comics, the tie-in novels, not to mention the characters' own plots ( ... )

Transformers are like Saiyans when it comes to flying starships.
