Give me a pairing and a title reminiscent of the sillier
Harlequin titles (I recommend checking Harlequin Presents, Romance, Historical Undone, and Silhouette Special Edition for ideas. Especially Presents), and I will drabble you something very silly.

The Flaming Altar of Desire

And he wanted to kiss her and press her against the wall, but he couldn't accept a relationship where she was always thinking of Optimus Prime.
Everything had changed in the last vorn, and he knew he was stupid for falling in love with her in the first place. It should have just been desire and release - a reprieve from her grief, a balm for his responsibilities. It had been.
Until it wasn't.
He knew he couldn't replace Optimus in her heart, but he didn't want to. He just wanted her to love him as a person himself. Not just desire, love.

This sex is more... faintly disturbing and creepy but in a good, good way. And hey, Rodimus clearly likes pink cars...
Thank you so much! *Snugs.*
And thank you for putting up these indices. It makes things easier to find.

"I didn't hear you objecting." Shi Kai grinned as he tied the rope to bind their hands together. "A handfast is a very old way to show the dedication of both parties to a certain agreement."
The man from Ba Sing Se gazed at him with cool eyes. "It's a form of marriage."
Shi Kai's grin sharpened. "You want the Ashtun Tribes' cooperation, Emperor, you have to cooperate with me. Ba Sing Se's betrayed us before."
"The Ashtun Tribes have betrayed us before."
Shi Kai imagined he was thinking of the moment earlier this afternoon when his men hit the Emperor's convoy. He knew he couldn't get that moment out of his own head, or the moment his eyes met Long Feng's.
He especially couldn't forget the moment when he thought he knew exactly what Long Feng would do with his earthbending and Long Feng did something completely different.
He tied the knot and pulled it tight. "We'll seal the deal later, Emperor. For now, this is enough."
For now.

Why was he working on Jack's crew? There really wasn't anything to recommend him; young William at least had a streak of rebellion in him from the beginning. The not-so-good commodore just had unwashed hair and broad shoulders and an unfortunate tendency to snipe at Jack.
Given Jack had taken him in out of the goodness of someone's heart, the sniping really wasn't called for.
Why was Miss Swann spending so much time around the commodore? Didn't she have work to be doing? Important compass-reading? There was no need to make the ex-commodore smile; the man wasn't getting paid to smile. He was getting paid to sail the PearlHe obviously hadn't been thinking when he hired the man. There'd been rum. There'd been rum. Jack was fairly certain there had been rum involved. Somewhere. They'd been on Tortuga, there was always rum involved when he visited Tortuga.
It's past my bedroom and I'm having a lot of chest pains at the moment (hence why I'm up) so I definitely should not be laughing. But... I couldn't help myself. Why must you make me laugh???
In all seriousness, I do love it. *pets*

"You know that isn't my name, Ami-chan." His lips brushed against the curve of her ear, his hands settling on her hips.
She closed her eyes. No, that wasn't his name. But it was the name of the man she cared for. This man was an enemy, a destroyer. He served the forces of chaos and evil.
He wasn't Takagi-san.
But his hands felt the same.

Oh MY.
*purrs* Oh, Rubeus. You're so... evil is not the word I want here. Dangerous, yes. No the word I want, but still dangerous.
I wonder what brought them to this, and why he discarded the charade.
Thank you, darling. <3

"She fled in the night," his brother said, spreading his hands helplessly. "We have not been able to find any trace of her."
He sucked in a breath, and all the lanterns in the corridor went out. "I know you had something to do with this, Iroh," he said in a low, dangerous voice. "You never liked Ursa. But she is my wife, and I'm not going to lose her."

He nearly gave up in despair three times over the next six months. Until he found the bounty-hunter and handed over Ursa's favorite obi.
The woman dumped him in front of an Earth Kingdom hovel, and as he laid his hand on the door, he heard the wail of a newborn child come from within.

*glees over the Urzai* It's too pretty. ;_;
And, oh! Such mystery! Why should you torment me with the mystery? *purrs* I'm close to tears, woman, and I'm not sure which is major cause of it-- the chest pains, the squeeable and dedicated Ozai to Ursa, or the fact something tells me that that newborn child should not be there?
Magnificent, as always. :)
