Give me an AU prompt, and I'll write you something of at least a hundred words. All AUs I've done before, except LaS, Assimilation, Flint, and DotM, can be requested. I might deny some prompts if they involve something plot-centric to the last part of "Bedrock

He didn't entirely know what to make of it. So he made tea brimming with honey and cream.
"Zolena," he said softly as he helped her sit up to take the tea. Her hair was as white as his now, and he wasn't sure when in the last three decades that change had taken place. First had been a few strands here and there, then streaks, then all of her dark hair was gone entirely.
Her skin seemed delicate, frail, pulled tight over her bones so her hands looked like moths. But she still smiled, though, and smiled at him"Iroh," she murmured after taking a long drink of tea. "Where's Lu Ten? I want to see my son before I die ( ... )

I like how tea is still slipped in to this; a cure for all ills and the heaping of cream and honey. Delicious tea will solve the problems.
What I adore most though? How Iroh doesn't seem to care she ages, she is still lovely and beautiful and wonderful and he still adores her. Wonderful how you capture the beauty and tragedy of elf/human relationships in this.
