Katsu shrugs, armor rustling with his movement. "Do they need a reason?"
No, General Torao and Captain Zhao never needed a reason for an Agni Kai, at least in Chiko's experience. They're friends like men out of stories, burning and wild, as much against each other as ready to stand by each other's side.
Now they face each other across the length of a field, barefoot and bare-chested. Traditional garb, to show they're wearing no armor and carrying no weapons.
Chiko thinks they're both very handsome men, and she wouldn't mind being in the sorts of situations it's rumored General Torao's wife gets in. Zhao is a muscular man, broad and untraditionally handsome. Torao is leaner but still muscled, a swordsman, and much closer to the epitome of traditional male beauty.

Instead, she dips the two baskets she could carry into the water, pulling them out full of flopping fish. Those she sets out to drown in the air while she goes about preparing her camp for the night.

He's not supposed to tell his dad about that just yet. Or about what Grandfather Ozai has been teaching him. Or what Aunt Ty Lee has been teaching him, either.
If Hitoshi hadn't sat through a couple of his dad's court days before, he'd think Dad was the most oblivious person in the entire world.)
"You can't be the Avatar," he argues from his perch in the tree branches. "The Avatar doesn't work with the Blue Spirit. The Blue Spirit is against the Avatar ( ... )

Lil' Ursa is adorable and clearly has traits of Mama and Aang and seems to be doing well despite the situation of how her existence came to be.

Hitoshi loves his Grandfather Ozai! Everyone else is disturbed by this, but there's not much they can do about it. (Also, I kind of forgot about Mai's family. >_>) I must include Tom-Tom in the future!
Lil' Ursa is so much adorable. She is going to grow up feisty! And I think everyone is just very politely pretending she's Zuko's child. MAI HAD A VERY LONG PREGNANCY, OKAY?
