In the last few days I've seen a bunch of donations come in, bringing my unofficial total to over $1,950.

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for donating. Really. I know how hard it is to find room in your budget these days to donate to a charitable cause, but believe me when I say that charities like LLS need help now more than ever-- ( Read more... )

Have you thought of organizing a bowling fundraiser? My brother's softball team does that at the beginning of every season and they usually make a good amount doing that (if you know a lot of people that will come). If you want details on what I'm talking about, let me know and I'll fill you in!

Yeah, let me know the details. I think I heard some other people on my team wanted to do that, but I don't know how it would work.

Well, you would start by booking a bowling alley that is willing to host your fundraiser, preferrably a Friday or Saturday night because you will get the most people on those nights. You tell them it's a fundraiser and see what they have to offer - usually so many games and shoe rental for each person for a certain amount of money, then your fundraiser will get a certain amount of those profits ( ... )
