Fundraising update
In the last few days I've seen a bunch of donations come in, bringing my unofficial total to over $1,950.
I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for donating. Really. I know how hard it is to find room in your budget these days to donate to a charitable cause, but believe me when I say that charities like LLS need help now more than ever--people with diseases like cancer still suffer when the economy is bad. So your donations are so very much appreciated. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
That said, I have a long way to go to reach my goal (my must-have goal is $3,900, and my stretch goal is $5,000). And that does make me a little nervous, since I will personally have to pay for whatever amount short of my must-have goal that I end up with in June (which I would LOVE to do, but because I'm not working, I am broke!). So, if anyone has any ideas for what I could do to raise more money, I am certainly open to ideas. I don't have a lot of time to do anything extravagant, with finishing up grad school and all. But I will at least entertain any idea you have, and accept any help that you could offer!
