Yikes! How far back into the records do you have to go to verify your purchases? I wonder if the start of the fraudulent spending will give you a clue as to where, when, how it may have been snagged.

Such a freaking headache. Hopefully you're all sorted easily and quickly.

The transaction didn't go through because the address given on the transaction wasn't the same as the one on the card... which is mine ( ... )

Even when you're at your most careful, nasty stuff like this can happen. My fiance had his debit number stolen by one of the dudes at our local pizza place. Needless to say, we didn't go back there. A shame, really. They had delicious calzones. :(

Hope everything works out for ya!

Well, the bank were very understanding - which was nice! Not to mention, incredibly efficient too. Had my new card in 48 hours.

I hope you reported the b*ggers! Can't be doing their trade very good if someone is ripping their customers off! What is the world coming to?

Oh noes! That's awful. Glad that the bank is being helpful but bugger it, no ready money - that sucks!

The bank have been nothing but awesome. Cancelled the card and got a new one to me in about 48 hours flat. Can't say better than that.

Even so, I am going to cover myself as best I can from now on... We'll see how that one goes!
