Lol you're fast (am reading this quickly before leaving for work! XD) I read the first sentence as "Today we were able to welcome the first day of the tour without any problems!" which I think is a little more literal but otherwise I read it the same =D

I posted it quickly before I left for work and edited it several times when there was some downtime. I just didn't like the way I worded some things.

It can mean "welcome" or "approach"; I originally had it as "welcome", but my sister read over it and suggested I change it to "went by" since it flows better. There's no right or wrong answer, I guess that's the art of translating.

I guess that's also the hardest part of translating ^^ I always keep changing the way I read something until it sounds right in my head.

I wish I had downtime at work. This week I'm going back to the busy store and I don't know if I'll survive another week at that store.

I know. I change my wording so many times it's not even funny. And I try not to translate things too literally; some things sound really weird in English.

The downtime's nice. At least I had time to eat. But too much downtime can get boring. I don't mind being busy, I just don't want there to be problems.

Hope this week goes by quickly for you! I think you'll be fine. Time goes by quickly at a busy store, but I'd be so tired at the end of my shift.
