It's been practically forever since my last sojourn into the world of Live Journal, but maybe it's time for a quick visit. I have a lot of free time tonight and somehow this seems like a good way to fill some of it ( Read more... )

I know this is a bit late, but I wanted to post some physical evidence of last semester... ( in doodle form, of course. )

I just read an article about a woman who died after consuming too much water. I didn't know this was possible, but, as always, Wikipedia has all the answers.

So drinking water is good, but drinking too much water is fatal. I guess that's fodder for the "everything in moderation" ideal.

And I think I've just selected my new theme for 2007.

Since I've turned 21, I've:
• been to three bars (including the Chocolate Bar!)
  
• frolicked around the City Museum
  
• made waffles for a houseful (apartmentful, really) of good people
  
• spent an entire day playing Tetris
  
• gone to see a movie (Borat) at the Chase Park Plaza, which is really fancy and neat
  
• started smoking cloves
  
• rearranged my room

The Bouncing Souls rocked my fucking face off tonight, and all is good in the universe. How can anything be bad in a world where you can be sandwiched between hot, sweaty bodies, shoving each other and losing your balance, where everyone looks out for everyone else and there's always a strong hand and a smile to help you out?
