► GENERAL:
→ So, I was reading Monster High wank when looking for some entertainment and, like it usually is of late, f_w itself isn't very funny, but following the links lead me to the sf_drama post about it and a;lskdfjalks oh my god that was... that was actually kind of fun! I... I had forgotten what it was like when people were actually funny ( Read more... )

I really have nothing to add except I can't wait until you sort through those 30 tabs and have more recs.

I'm pretty sure I blame you and your comment about Kurt calling him "David" sounded like Rachel calling Puck "Noah" is what got me to catch up. I think I'm pretty mad at you.

Except I can't stay mad because every time I look at those berets, I just crack up all over again. Santana is the best ever.

Last night I was at a drag show for a bachelorette, and two of the performers did the Santana/Mercedes version of "River Deep, Mountain High," and I was all, "Oh, they're not getting it right at all. Santana shook her little fanny and then she did this hilarious Tina Turner high-step and then dabbed at her forehead and..."

It was then that I realized I'm totally in TV love with her. From her sassy ponytail right down to her toes. And I know she's terrible sometimes, in that one-dimension "straight up bitch" way, but like you said: Naya's little facial expressions are so killer.

And she's really pretty.

But yeah, the "David" thing got me. I know it's probably one of those things that will turn up in fic now, but it caught me off guard. How it's something that no one else has ever called him (besides maybe Principal Figgins, which doesn't count) and how Kurt was really being himself for the first time in a while with the All About Eve reference and the impatient Hummel bitchery and all. I've missed that, and I'm going to pretend that ( ... )

I want to write (well, okay, read) this great big essay of love for Santana probably because who doesn't want to be a bitch when you're forced to watch half of these people on the screen? And it's a lot easier to have affection for a bitchy character when they're quite happy being a bitch and not trying to pretend they're not. Plus, she's so good at it ( ... )

I haven't gotten either of the two newest trees either...And god only knows I've been trying. And ugh, the collections. Since they're new, they fly off the feed so quickly that I've gotten like one off it so far. I imagine it'll take me months before I get to the appropriate level for cool animal prizes. And with sheep breeding, I'm getting pretty bored too. I have dots and I have stars and there's only so much you can do with that. And with the striped ram coming off the market in a day, I can't help but want to get it even though a stripe is pretty boring, especially when compared with the camo. I don't even like either of them but the fact that I might never have one is driving me a bit insane ( ... )

I know they'll start coming out eventually--look how the royal crystal tree and the wedding tree are popping up more frequently now--but it's still frustrating when I want to make sure I at least get one, then I can settle down ( ... )

You should be able to get black sheep with orange stars eventually if you limit your color options. It takes time since they do like retaining their original colors. That's why I try to use the hooded sheep when I'm trying to breed select colors, less bias ( ... )

Huh, I might try that--probably breeding two black/orange sheep over and over until I get something different? Or should I be breeding the offspring to get better chances at changing the colors? I really wish Zynga would be more clear about how this works. orz ( ... )

Glee Glee Glee Glee Glee!!!! (Why am I so excited about a show I so frequently hate? XD)

I have frequently wondered why it is that I can't stand Will Schuester when I can attribute the rage-inducing actions of every other character to crappy writing. Is it because he's supposed to be the adult mentor figure? Is it because I'm also a teacher? Is it because he has so much screentime that he just has more time for the writers to fuck up his character? I think it's a combination of all three. Which isn't to say that I wouldn't love for the writers to turn his character around, because Matthew Morrison is hella talented. That would require the writers to stop trying to make Will/Emma happen and focus on Will as a teacher and his awesome friendship with Shannon Beiste, though. I CAN DREAM ( ... )

I can't lie, the double standards of bullying on this show really kind of drive me up the wall. It might be different if all the "bullies" were held up to the same standards, that any and all of them were waved off with the same, "I was bullied in high school, so I can never approve!" Hell, I wouldn't even mind if most of fandom would just live and let live when it comes to these things! I'm not even really that out there in fandom and I feel the stigma of being a Karofsky fan because I see a scared kid who is having a really difficult time and is struggling to figure himself out. And, also, the writers are really fucking inconsistent.

And it's also... I don't mean to make light of bullying or how terrified Kurt was. But, honestly, what kid hasn't thrown around the "I'll kill you" line at some point in their teenage lives? And I think this week's episode further goes to show... UGH, IF I GET STARTED ON THIS TOPIC, IT WILL JUST BE TL;DR BITCHING AND DEFENSIVENESS SO I SHALL MOVE ALONG NOW ( ... )

Gah, you're making me want to read more of the Sailor Moon manga! I own a few volumes, but I don't think I've actually read that many... On the other hand, I'm rewatching the anime(and I think me and my friend are starting from episode one to watch over Skype together).

I have been waiting yearsssss to read the Sailor Moon manga, so I AM GOING TO TALK ABOUT IT A LOT, YOU CANNOT STOP ME. Also, you should totally reread it! It's so pretty, oh my goodness! So very, very pretty!

Though, I must also say that reading the manga has given me a new appreciation for the anime, so I'm also all for watching the anime from the beginning! (Which is what I'm in the middle of, too! Except I kind of want to rewatch the first season again right nooooow--!)

All these SM posts are making me (besides tempting me to read the entire manga and rewatch the series, damn you!) wonder if you've ever read Sailor Moon CS, the fan manga on DevArt.
