→ So, I was reading Monster High wank when looking for some entertainment and, like it usually is of late, f_w itself isn't very funny, but following the links lead me to the sf_drama post about it and a;lskdfjalks oh my god that was... that was actually kind of fun! I... I had forgotten what it was like when people were actually funny ( Read more... )

You should be able to get black sheep with orange stars eventually if you limit your color options. It takes time since they do like retaining their original colors. That's why I try to use the hooded sheep when I'm trying to breed select colors, less bias.

A swirl pattern would be pretty cool... What would also be nice is if those damned shamrock sheep could be bred with the pattern. Now that would be nice as well. It doesn't make much sense to me to have a sheep with a pattern but have no way for that sheep to pass that pattern on.

Before all this craziness started, I thought of both Blaine and Karofsky as instruments for Kurt's evolution as a character. Now, I still think of Karofsky in that way so I feel like eventually his character will have some sort of resolution (if this whole blackmail limbo isn't what they've planned as his resolution) but I feel like Blaine has been so well-received that he won't be allowed to just fade away as easily. I don't know how much of that is my wistful thinking and my simple desire to rationalize why he'll be around more in season three, but I get the sense that out of the two, Blaine would be a better investment.

I don't know, maybe the Prom episode will show a marked change in Karofsky's character that he'll actually seem viable to me. If it was going to happen, it'll probably be there.

Huh, I might try that--probably breeding two black/orange sheep over and over until I get something different? Or should I be breeding the offspring to get better chances at changing the colors? I really wish Zynga would be more clear about how this works. orz

Yes! I would love shamrock patterns! Or maybe some heart patterns! Or, if they wanted to get fancy, maybe change the actual shape of the sheep by putting some different headbands on them, depending what you breed. I would love to breed some flower sheep, something like that.

I am completely unable to predict Glee, but... honestly, I think a lot of that is that they change directions constantly. So, my gut feeling is that Blaine will stick around for awhile as well, but I also wouldn't be horribly surprised if he didn't. You never know with this show. Of the two, though, I think Blaine is by far the better choice for getting invested in, if only because you've already gotten adorable boyfriends making out in canon and you have nearly ten times the amount of fic Karofsky/Kurt has. If I could flip a switch that would let me ship Blaine/Kurt, I'd seriously consider it, just because I'd have soooo muuuuch fiiiiic. XDDDD

Though, if you come around on the character/ship, it might be fun to be able to ship both. (Though, surprisingly, for all the kids breaking up and constantly dating new people, I've found Glee tends to be a pretty OTP series for me, at least.)

That's what I do when I want to breed a specific color pattern. They generally show you the main body color in the lambs so I just share the ones that don't fit what I want.

There are a ton of fic for Blaine/Kurt! It's what keeps be busy when I'm not playing Farmville. And you're right about it being a pretty OTP series for me too. I don't know, maybe I'll find someone else to ship Blaine with later on since in the past, I've only been able to ship a character in different pairings if I liked them. But for that to happen, I'll have to get to know Blaine more (and not hate him afterwards like Kurt) and who knows if that would ever happen.

Honestly, I think Blaine is one of those characters that... he's pretty much only there to revolve around Kurt, so shipping him with anyone else would be really difficult. If he ever came over to McKinley, then maybe... which I wouldn't mind, it could be really fun, but I don't think it'll ever happen. And Darren Criss is too popular for them to just let go, so... Blaine/Kurt it is, I suspect, for quite some time. Another reason why I would seriously consider flipping that switch if I could. XDDD
