When is Glee going to let me go? It's never, isn't it? It'll never let me go.

It's been so long since I watched Last Exile. I cared more about the adult characters like Alex and what's her face the princess than Claus and Lavie and blah blah blah. It was a cool world though, but I wonder how there can be a sequel to that.

It really didn't seem like a series that needed a sequel, for memory? The storyline seemed pretty complete to me, as far as I remember. And I thought it did well, but not SO SUPER WELL that it would get a sequel just for the money? But, well, I liked the world a lot and I think it'll be really interesting to see what they do with it with the current level of animation available. And OH HARDSHIP maybe we'll have to rewatch to refresh our memories. :/

I'm curious. What did you think of the mysterious person who entered the restaurant at the end of the last episode of Glee? If you don't remember the scene, a friend of mine uploaded it here. Around the 11 second mark, the music changes and you can see what almost looks like someone stepping in front of the camera on the left side. The camera pans to Blaine, and then to Kurt. I'm curious if that will mean something down the road...

I like Blaine well enough as a character, but he doesn't seem to have much angst in his life. That makes him a bit boring. What attracts me to Karofsky is the opportunity for a lot of character development.

I don't think anyone entered the restaurant? You can see the audience facing the camera when someone's arm blocks it a little and that's where the Warblers are performing (who are all wearing dark jackets like the arm has), so it's one of their sleeves that blocks the camera briefly, it's just an odd shot. When you see the Warblers performing, you can see there's only a wall behind them, no entrances or anything (and they pan around a bit, so you can see there's not much there), so there's nothing back there besides them. And the music is just how Glee changes scenes a lot of times ( ... )

I hope it gets picked up, too! It's just NBC's list of potential pilots, so it may not even see the light of day ever. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE IT AND HAVE IT DO WELL, THOUGH. ;__;

I'm glad to hear Deadman Wonderland is good! I've seen images from it every so often and it looks really intriguing! a;sdlkfjal;skj why aren't there more hours in the day for me to just laze around and read manga in??

Last Exile is getting a sequel??

DUDE I haven't even gotten the time to finish checking out the original and they're already coming out with a sequel this spring season? WHY DO TIME AND I NOT GET ALONG WELL ENOUGH FOR ANIME VIEWING WHY.

AND Deadman Wonderland too? a;kdjfa I've only read a few chapters but I am interested in reading more! The art is pretty damn good. Do talk about your thoughts if you read it. ♥

(I would spare more time for Deadman Wonderland but alas, worthier series [AKA One Piece] require my attention. If I don't have time for One Piece I don't have time for anything else. ♥)

At the time I would have said Last Exile was must-see anime (and I still think that it was for that time period) but with so much else around now, I wouldn't say it's something to get on immediately. Though, I do think it's worth a watch and it (if memory serves) is a good marathon series, so it shouldn't take too long.

I started Defense Devil this morning because of all the new anime series coming out, but a;sldkfjals;kj now I'm tempted to switch over to Deadman Wonderland. CURSE YOU AND YOUR LURING ME INTO THESE THINGS.

But I also agree One Piece >>>>> EVERYTHING ELSE. al;skdjfalkj my love for that series will never abate. *___*

I'm torn because Grimm sounds cool, but at the same time I'm like "Fuck you NBC, I already had that idea!" And I had a half-fairy girl cop who was awesome and a angsty human cop and an evil conspiracy and psychic kids and everything. >:(

I've been watching little bits of Community, and it's pretty hilarious. I don't know yet if it's going to suck me in or not but I do enjoy the little pieces I've seen.

SAM. SAM. SAM. ♥
That is all.

I'm sort of torn--I love the idea, but wouldn't they run out of fairy tales really quickly? And yet! I love darker takes on fairy tales! And I love the modern retelling stuff! I eat up Supernatural and all those Syfy mini-series!

Community is a series that I really love and I want to fandomize it, but I admit that I dive on other shows more quickly. Like, I have to watch Modern Family, The Middle, and Cougar Town way more quickly.

OMG SAM I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. ♥

Well, there are plenty of folk tales out there that you can bastardize for all they're worth. My personal hope for Supernatural is that they'd go to Koreatown and have to deal with territorial gumiho (nine-tailed foxes) and it would be awesome.
And yeah, I totally have an obsession with screwing with my childhood. Half the things I write are based on fairy tales or extremely messed up versions of them XD

Enough to fill a ~22 episode a year series? Granted, they do say that it's inspired by Grimm stories, so it doesn't necessarily mean that they'll stick to only Grimm stories, they could mine from a lot of different sources or even just make some twisted fairy tales up. I would be totally down with that.

Supernatural briefly had an okami, which piqued my curiosity, because I would love to see them take on Asian supernatural creatures! A GUMIHO WOULD BE AWESOME OMG.
