Am... am I going to get run out of fandom if I admit that I never finished even one HP book and the only participation I really had with the series (aside from watching the first movie) is that I read a lot of Sirius/Remus (and occasionally H/Hr) fic? (What? It was the thing to do five years ago!)

(This may also explain why I was a H/Hr shipper, I know. XD)

I was going to pretend to be all flouncy and horrified, but then I realized this is a perfect opportunity to change my character to

SANZO.

And I would have pretended to cry and chase after you, if you had, but! This is even better! Oh, fandom is going to brick me for this, I bet.

A) My OTP: I have a very difficult time choosing any OTP for Saiyuki, I don't ship that much in it, but... if I had to choose one, it'd probably be Sanzo/Hakkai. I am shamelessly Sanzo-centric and his quiet relationship with Hakkai, with a surprising amount of respect on both sides and just a hint of being evil to each other, totally makes me weak.

B) The runner up: Sanzo/Gojyo, I think. I used to haaaaaaaate this pairing with a burning, fiery passion, but it's really just that I hate the way most people write it. The actual ship itself? Kind of awesome in the right light. I have a real fondess for ships where two people are total dicks to each other.

C) The anti-ship: Again, it's hard to pick, because I can't say I hate the ship or that I can't see where it comes from, because I totally do. I just don't ship Sanzo/Goku in the sense of makeouts. As something else, that's along the

IT HAS BEEN FOREVER SINCE I WAS INTO YYH BUT I BET I STILL HAVE TONS OF ~*OPINIONS*~. :D

A) My OTP: Hiei/Kurama, always. I know it's almost cliche at this point to ship it, but I've always been a sucker for the two characters that are always in the background and seem suspiciously close and share all these little looks or comments that you can't quite parse because they're ~*mysterious*~ and it's fun to build on that.

B) The runner up: You know, I don't think I have a second Kurama ship? I would love to see more gen interaction between him and Yukina and Yuusuke and Kuwabara, though!

C) The anti-ship: Karasu, I think. Part of it was OMG BACK OFF HE IS TAKEN that I felt when I was a wee fangirl but part of it is also OMG CREEPY RAPIST vibes. (Sometimes I like that sort of thing, but not with Karasu.)

D) My unpopular fannish opinion on said character: You know, I'm not sure what's popular opinion on him? I always thought he was a blend of original Kurama and Shuuichi when he was reborn, but got the impression that fandom

Oh, god, my relationship with Vesperia is ridiculous. I have had this game for probably over a year and a half now and I've started it twice and made decent progress (for me! shut up!), enough that I know the characters and have formed a few early ~*opinions*~ and stuff, but I am not even close to finishing it. ....but there's amazing fanart on Pixiv and SHUT UP I AM WEAK SHUT UP!

Ahaha, I've been playing for months, and thanks to my sworn vow to do a review of it for LJ every step of the way I've been hovering at the last dungeon for ages.

Aside from the general lack of playing (real) games over here, mostly I keep thinking, MAN, I SHOULD PRINT OUT A WALKTHROUGH FIRST and then never do because it's a pain in the ass and just go play, like, Bejeweled or something. orz

I WAS REALLY TORN BETWEEN DOING YURI OR ESTELLE HERE, BUT I'LL GO WITH YURI SINCE HE'S EASIER. I SHALL PREPARE TO RUN AWAY NOW.

A) My OTP: Yuri/Estelle--to be honest, I started the game and expected to be annoyed by this one. Cutesy, sugary girl and the snarky guy who's put upon to help her out? Blehhhh. But then he... seemed to kind of like her and she was SUPER FREAKING ADORABLE and I went, "....well, shit."

B) The runner up: Yuri/Flynn. WHO AM I TO RESIST THE SHINY GAY? Especially when it's pretty and Pixiv loves it, too!

C) The anti-ship: Yuri/Raven. I dunno why, it just sort of makes me go, "...." and walk off.

D) My unpopular fannish opinion on said character: Does Vesperia fandom have popular/unpopular opinions?

ILU FOR THIS. ♥ Not that I'm not going to be a) predictable and b) boring as all get out about it! :D

A) My OTP: Squall/Rinoa, easily. Sure, you can criticize how it was written or even just flat-out dislike the type of relationship it is, but it was there from very early on in the game and it was built up along the way. It is not automatically, irrefutably badly written just because not everyone liked it. I loved the way they interacted with each other, I love that she just barged her way right in and Squall was kind of dumbstruck and then clearly kept thinking about her even when she wasn't there and kept gravitating towards her and then she pushed him off his seat because he was being emo and mopey and she knew how to get through to him! I love that she gets that he's kind of socially backwards despite being very capable and she lets him grow without trying to ~*change*~ him. She just pried him open a little, not forced him into change. And he provided a steady, real connection for her, someone she could trust and

I'm SO tempted to give you Fucked-Up Loser-san or Little Bitch-kun but I don't know that it's possible to have an unpopular fannish opinion when the entire fandom is made up of anywhere from five to ten people and two of those people are you and me. And our discussions tend to go from deeply philosphoical to pondering how to plot a scale that determines 'Tendou's Willingness to Mate with Kagami' based on Tendou's hair and clothesSo instead have this five minute crossover from hell

Let me recreate my journey for you.
