XDDD Well, it is a lot to read through, I, um. Kind of write long posts, I don't know if you've noticed. So, I'm always kinda impressed when anyone can slog through all of it. ^_~

I totally get why Shun/Jun would be hard to write, it's hard to get down the characterization of a non-Johnny's because they just don't have the same fandom for them. You could probably piece together something of Shun's personality from the handful of clips that get translated (like the occasional diary entry or the Hanakimi specials stuff or whatever), but it'd be really hard to do. Not like with Arashi, where you have so much material to go through for little clues to their personality. (I'm having the same trouble with trying to pin down Mizushima Hiro--who's really popular! So... where are the interviews and subs? T__T)

as;dlkfjaslkj I just saw the Jun VTR for Shun! DOWNLOADING LIKE CRAZY NOW.

Himitsu no Arashi-chan #12 was hilarious for all those little touches, yes! When Planetarium Flavor of Life started playing, I went LOL so hard. I love that they got Nishida to show up as well and the LOOK on Jun's face when he realized that this wasn't the end of it yet ( ... )

I didn't read about half of the stuff here, because I didn't want to spoil myself for HnA ep.12 (or the Hanadan movie), but I read your ep. 11 description and ...yeah. I have to agree with you - the beauty stuff was just ...pretty boring. :( Even if I cracked up like hell about the fact that the last three things I saw on HnA were a.) child minders, b.) "secrets" of a certain fashion trend, and c.) beauty tips. Add to that the "romance movie" stuff they had before that and the (fake)"romantic date", and HnA is starting to look A LOT like the television form of a women's magazine ( ... )

I really wanted to like Himitsu #11, I am totally LOL over how much they're tailoring the show to stuff that appeals to women, it's just... I don't know, nothing quite came together without understanding the language, I suspect. But it hasn't helped that they've had some really spectacular segments lately, so these probably looked even more boring in comparison, but... I dunno, it sort of felt like Sho/Ohno/Jun didn't really get much to DO during them, they just sort of sat there.

I'm slowly being won over to the Jun/Mao-chan pairing because they are SO CUTE together and it's not like they get along perfectly, they tease each other a lot and poke at each other and they just. Their chemistry seems to be different lately, since the filming of the movie. Which may have to do with how the movie is more focused with the Tsukasa/Tsukushi scenes, rather than having them with the others quite so much? They seem to... really know each other, like, they can practically finish each other's sentences ( ... )

You know, at some point during Himitsu 11 I suddenly wondered whether those three weren't actually bored, too, because at some point they were just sitting there and not really speaking with each other, just waiting, and I think Ohno was slouching badly again (not like he never does, or anything, but still^^") and somehow, I got the feeling that he was about to fall asleep and all in all, I don't think this has been the most interesting section for them ( ... )

All three of them hardly said a word the entire time, I can't imagine that it was that much fun for them, either. And that shows--it's like, you look at Nino's reports and they're so much fun because he's throwing himself into them and interacting with animals or running around in the places or trying out the airplane seats or whatever. We're tuning in because we want to see Arashi doing stuff, not just Arashi standing around while there's an infomercial going on. Even if it was nice to see Matsui-san again.

It is hard to judge Jun and Mao-chan because we don't really see them doing much outside of their roles or promoting the movie, but I'll be curious to see what you think after Himitsu #12. You might still feel the same way, but there were a few moments in it that further convinced me that I could ship them. I think what got me the most with them is watching the first time they appeared on TFP2 where Jun immediately guessed Rammenstein (I think?) from Mao-chan just based on the way she banged the buttons. I'd love to see ( ... )

I don't know if you noticed, but taijiproject has put up a projects list, and the Hanadan TFP appearance is on it, so it'll probably get subbed eventually. (Every day I am more astounded at how amazing she is, holy crap.) I'm really happy about the Shun/Jun relationship regardless of what its nature is (not that the amounts of gay aren't TOTALLY MASSIVE, lol). It's just nice to see Jun with people outside of Arashi who he clicks with just as well, and to know that he's got someone whose house he can randomly crash at for no real reason. Friends or more, they're adorable ( ... )

It's almost getting cliche to say it at this point, but it's still true. I'm just amazed at how much Taijiproject does for the fandom and how much she continues to keep doing and how fast she is. It's mind-boggling how many shows she's released and that she's not slowing down! And how she continues to be just about the nicest person ever, good lord. Just so many hearts for her.

Agreed about Shun/Jun! Like, I'm kind of starting to think that maybe there's something actually there and they're going about it in an Ohmiya sort of way of hiding in plain sight (because from everything I can get a feel for with Shun, I could believe that of him) even though I know it's a bad route to go down as a tinhat. And I know Shun was dating Yamada Yuu last time I heard, so it's hard to tinhat over them, but... there's just that level of comfortable and how they get along so well and all the little stories that we hear about and... a;sldjkfal;kj sleeping over on Shun's couch! WHEN HIS OWN APARTMENT IS IN THE SAME BUILDING. But even if it's ( ... )

Not that it wasn't total gold when Nino and Aiba were making comments (there has totally been a lot of Aiba/Nino lately! probably because they're the two without other major projects right now) and of course it was always Aiba that had an arm around Jun or a hand on his shoulder and afterwards Jun would lighten up or agree to whatever crazy scheme. And as;dlfjka;lsj NINO. "Just die already!" God, what I wouldn't have done for a video camera in the room while he was watching the endless Tsukasa/Tsukushi "Will they or won't they?" in the second season.

(It'll probably be a good idea to let things build up a bit, it's fun to do that sometimes and then have a mountain of new material to go through, kind of like when you first get into the fandom. Even if you're like me and get itchy not because you necessarily want to watch all the stuff, but just because you're a collector and you want to make sure you don't miss anything. orz I think you'll be getting back in time for the premiere of MAOU?)

I was actually very grateful and impressed by Ooshima re: the kiss. Because he seemed to REALLY HONESTLY balk at the idea of kissing her on the cheek, to the point where she as a woman and a fan probably picked up on it the same way we did. So what does she do?

She downgrades her prize to a kiss on the hand. Which Jun seemed relieved about.

Something about that little thing where she changed her mind on something he was very very uncomfortable about really... I don't know. Touched me? Like, even with the "aa~n" thing, it seemed like she was begging and pleading to be funny, not like she actually expected him to agree. And then he so softly does, perhaps thinking of it as a thing he could do to thank her for the really delicious bentou... there were a few moments where I think something was bargained between them silently, one or the other giving in on something for the sake of the other that really gave me huge warm fuzzies.

I was really impressed with her the whole way through, because it could have felt like everyone was having a joke at the expense of the poor deluded fangirl, but she was clearly the one in on the joke and pushing it forward because she thought it was great.

Changing it to a kiss on the hand was really lovely of her and made things so much more comfortable for everyone. I love that she obviously saw the situation clearly and was trying to make it comfortable for him, since he'd been doing so much, too.

Jun was obviously awkward and didn't quite know how to handle the whole situation, but I think he really does like Ooshima-san in his own way. He practically glowed over her during that first time she was on Shukudai-kun, it's just that. He doesn't do as well when someone is aggressive towards him (which she was doing as a joke and I think he got that, but still) and it's been awhile since we've seen Jun like that.

So, I was sort of both :< and "....awww ♥" over it at the same time, if that makes sense?

Re: Den-O
Yuuto was already pretty much my favorite character and you knew Deneb was totally right about him secretly being a great big squishie on the inside, no matter how hard Yuuto tried to protest, but that scene. Oh god my heart. It was so perfectly done, you just saw how hard all of that had been on him and the thought of losing the one person (Imagin) that had always been there for him, just. a sd;fljalj favorite relationship in the series, hands down. (Or like when Yuuto used the second to last card because Deneb was a great big scaredy cat at the haunted house!)

re: Kiva
I... I know the KR series are often kind of gay, but I wasn't expecting something so... BLATANT like that, holy crap.

I-- asd;flkj I love that apparently I'm actually interested in the various forms the fighters go through. orz

It's not surprising that Wataru's half-Fangire, I figured he probably was, but... I'm still deeply suspicious of any het that KR tries to sell me. >__>

.............. *weakly* don't say that. I've already started watching Boukenger and I'll probably watch Dekaranger and keep up with Kiva, b-but... don't make me go back even further with the modern Rider series. ;____;

Ohhh, is there going to be a fourth form, too? .... *goes to crawl in a hole and die for asking that question without irony*
