I had the same feeling about HnoA #12: Matsujun is having fun, as long as he doesn't have to touch her; and I don't think it is especially because it's her, but only because, as you said, he doesn't like to touch anyone he doesn't know well.
I talked about it with a (Hanadan fangirl) friend, and the way he backed away when she fell on him at the end was pretty obvious. But those 2 moments weren't enough to ruin the whole day for him, I think.
I loved everyone in this episode. Inoue is ohsocute *_* and I totally 'ship them now =D Ooshima is just great, doing Matsujun's promo while having her dream date and making the whole thing amusing for viewers. Great job, really! Nino is his usual evil (but squishable) self; and Matsujun... why so pretty? And am I the only one that found him soooo sexy while refusing to let her feed him? I may have something for his DoS side ^^"

I really want to think that it's because he doesn't know her that well. He's gotten really friendly with Arashi, obviously, and he's much more friendly and willing to be touched by the Hanadan cast, which I... don't think he was like that in the first season with them?

I love Inoue Mao so, so much, not only is she super gorgeous, she is SUPER ADORABLE, TOO. And apparently a little shit sometimes! God, I love her. The trouble started with Aiba picking Jun up for a recording one day and finding him just getting home from sleeping over at Oguri Shun's house.

"No." Jun folded his arms and leveled his best glare at Aiba. "Not a chance. No way." It wasn't the first time he'd said it that morning but he still held out hope of it getting through Aiba's thick skull. No meant NO.

Aiba looked back at him, soulful and abandoned and utterly adorable.

"No way in hell," Jun amended.

"What now?" Sho asked, coming into the room just in time to see Aiba turn up the 'abandoned' bit.

"I only want to spend time with MatsuJun and Oguri Shun!" Aiba said pitifully.

"Now tell him what SORT of time you want to spend with me and Oguri Shun," Jun instructed, planting his hands on his hips.

"Oh, this should be good," said Nino, whose arrival Jun hadn't noticed due to Nino being tiny and plastered to Sho's back

Oguri Note was lying on the floor by the bed and Jun looked at it for a long moment before he sighed and picked it up. He had been thinking about buying a copy to show his friend his support. He set it on his bedside table and turned out the lights.

Groping around in the dark, Jun found his cellphone. He flipped it on and scrolled through his contacts until he found Sho's phone number. Thought it wasn't late, it was still several rings before the phone picked up. Sho sounded breathless, though, as he said 'hello'.

"Sho," Jun sighed. "You're going to have to have The Talk with Aiba again. You wouldn't believe what he brought me tonight

It never fails to delight me when an author can work in these Japanese guys (especially someone like Jun, who would possibly pitch a fit otherwise) wanting a shower beforehand, but still making it interesting and a part of the natural flow of the story and a;sldfkjalkj AHAHAHA THAT IS THE BEST EXPLANATION FOR SHUN'S PHOTOBOOK BEING THERE.

Admittedly, there aren't that many other girls that Jun has occasion to be around, especially with his job and the company he works for, but there is something that's almost... magic about the Hanadan cast.

Obviously I love the relationship with Shun and Jun as well--actually, I think Jun's relationship with Shun seems to be a lot like what he has with Arashi? i felt that he tend to deal with older woman better than younger one, even that he still very polite to them. . mao seem to close to jun, they did stay together in la for over month. with all the report and shows that i watched of them. Like the behind the scene of hyd 2, she totally in his space, jump on his back, jun just let her do it, then turn around and throw her down the snow.lol Then there her massage his arm during the prom in hyd2 ( fan report that this make jun's fan to get angry, yelling at her to stop touching him ). then he totally sat on her in hyd final during the wedding scene. i just felt that with mao, jun can be really touchy too. he didn't care about the space issue.

I felt kind of badly being critical of the episode because I know I should just shut up and enjoy the hilarity of it. BUT I KEEP THINKING THESE THOUGHTS--!! I really do love Ooshima-san, though, and I'm so glad they had this episode with her, it was such a great performance from her as a comedian and totally a great way to promote the movie and a great way to have fun with the whole thing.

....I don't even find Jun that "hot" (pretty yes, hot not so much... most of the time, when he fills out a little more, he gets better) and I would still totally do him at least once, even if he's not interested in girlparts.

AND YES. AIBA/NINO/JUN OT3 FOREVER, IT'S LIKE THOSE LITTLE SHITS LOVE ME. ♥ If they ever did gang up... well, you can see what happens. Jun might enjoy it, but he's going to end up destroyed by the end of it

Well I always think when Jun is having personal space issues on the show, he gets over it really quickly and whatever it is, it doesn't have a lasting impression on him because everybody already understands that that's who Jun is. Like he could be iffy and annoyed and prissy at Ooshima, like in a serious way, but once it's over, everyone knows it's kind of circumstantial and idk, it ends up funny because it's Jun and it made him special (lol). :P

Jun's lightened up a lot over the years, he's way more relaxed and friendly with people, you can totally tell the difference. But I think... sometimes it's still a bit much for him, especially when he's put on the spot and embarrassed by people going OMG MASTUJUN KYAAAAA and I would expect that he probably feels like OMG NO I'M NOT THAT GREAT STOP IT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO REAAAAAAACT TO THIIIIIIIIIS. You can tease him about being super-popular (if he knows/likes/trusts you and it's only to a certain point) but I imagine it was a very, very long day at a lot of points.

I think Jun likes Ooshima-san, I think he probably finds her hilarious, but there's probably also that "....but I'm not that great. o__o" reaction, too. (Which, ironically, is often covered by how Jun goes all Bossy Better Than Thou to cover up when he's nervous. XDDD

I'm not sure if this makes a difference, but a lot of the times where Jun seemed like he was getting pissed he was talking and acting like Doumyouji? He did that a lot. Suddenly going into Doumyouji mode, I mean. Mao was pretty consistently in Tsukushi character.

I probably need to watch it again, though, I'm too overwhelmed by the awesomeness of the Hanadan movie to have any helpful commentary. XD
