I had a whole bunch of people in the last few days tell me it was really stupid to try to go into DC for the inauguration because it would be crowded and cold and I wouldn't be able to see anything and I wouldn't be able to get home. Oh wow, you were there? I was watching from over here on the other side of the Atlantic and I was weeping - it is an amazing, amazing thing to have been there for real.

its awesome that you got to go and be there i was so tempted to try but deicded to stay home where its warm lol (watching the news now about how crowded the marc train was) but it must have been so cool to really be there

I'm with you. We finally have a leader who is more interested in serving the country than in serving his own ego (or big oil). Who will lead out of courage and conviction vs, fear and a 'daddy complex."

We were allowed to watch it at work and I am proud to say I was not the only one with tears in my eyes.
