Coming up on the end of the semester, animation is underway and for the first time since high school, I'm not stressed to all hell about anything. In fact, I'm pretty much done everything that needs to be handed in except for my blue tonal.

So, in celebration (plus I just had to sift through all of it for my final) here are some life drawings!

I love them! The first one's post is so dynamic! Especially with the lighting and the pencil strokes (conte stokes?)

Yeah, it's conte.
We learned this neat thing called "directional shading" which is where you kinda make up the shading to give the form depth while making sure that your lines go around instead of just anywhere.
Then after that's done, you add the actual shading.

I was so suck at shading before we learned this technique.
