This week has been a series of long boring meetings (math, penmanship, spelling, literacy - for crying out loud I'm a science teacher, do I really need to sit in on this?) This week is for new staff orientation, but since next week is supposed to be full on professional development days I'm going in today and Thursday to set up my room. Yesterday my mom and I went shopping with two of the three maids on a dress hunt. I hate all these decisions that need to be made... budget can sometimes help. I came from one photog appointment today - I really like the work they do, they are local, they seem nice, I got a good vibe etc... but they are $1300 more than I have alloted. I stayed over at Dan's last night - showed off my "For-lounging-around-in-Hawaii-bikini" for him - he loved it so that's good. This morning I went to my first yoga class. Last night I went to go meet/greet the Kentucky crew as they returned - they all looked completely zonked. I'm so very proud of them! It was nice to see people that I haven't seen in ~ a year, even though I don't know many of them.
