It's wonderful that you and Tommy were able to talk about his Dad like that, it sounds like they were close. That must have been tough for him. It's nice that he has you to talk with.
That's so good! All the talking I mean. It's really hard for people to know what they can and can't ask, and hard to know if the person wants to talk about it. Usually though, I think that they do. I like answering questions and talking about my Dad, although 13 years is a lot longer than 2 years...but in any case, good on you for not being worried about asking.
Hey Becca, I just want you to know that Torontos winter is not as harsh as Saskatchewans! It will be -40 in Jan and Feb!!!! Yeah we say that we are thankful for things such as friends and family and good food. But Canada celebrates thanksgiving to give thanks for a harvest well done. Whereas the Americans give thanks for that and there is a little more history behind it. Something to do with Pilgrims I don't know the whole idea behind it. Happy first Thanksgiving to you! I hope its great.
