Over a decade ago now...*double checks her math*... yeah, over a decade ago now I started keeping a running "Top Ten OTPs (FPs)" list. It can be found waaay back
here on the date it was begun, March 14th, 2005. Told you I'd been doing it for more than a decade. When I started it the list was entirely heterosexual pairings because I still wasn'

I icon'd the really beautiful Thor/Loki fanart that made it onto some posters for Thor: The Dark World in China. *Points to icon.* I've always been a fan of Loki's from the comic books, and the mythology. It took all the warmth Chris Hemsworth puts into Thor, and the great chemistry he has with Tom for me to go and enjoy the characters as a slash pairing.
And I'm a big fan of Sherlock/John and Jack/Ianto, too. :)
Thanks! I know I specifically said BBC Sherlock for Sherlock/John on my list, but really I pretty much see all Sherlock/John as slashy. I love how Jude Law has talked about the relationship as a romance. I'd say even if someone doesn't see it as homosexual they should see it as homoromantic. I suspect Jack/Ianto will always mean so much to me. I can't really put into words how much I love them. <3

I can definitely see all Holmes/Watson relationships as slashy--the characters always have a really strong and vital connection, so it's hard not to see it!
You should totally make on OT3 list too, by the way! :P

Thanks!
...I don't think I was aware of Loki the comics character before the movie.
I first met Marvel Comics' Loki 30 years ago. Having loved him for so many years is one of the reasons I didn't see the first Thor movie when it was first released in theaters. Only thing I'd seen Tom Hiddleston in was Wallander, and I had trouble imagining him being good casting for Loki. It was only after I saw his Loki in the first Avengers movie that I went back back and watched the first Thor movie.
You should totally make on OT3 list too, by the way! :P
I'll have to think about it.

I love the sound of it, even if I'm not sure it's exactly true! I have heard that most slash writers are college educated women so maybe it's more like, "With great experience comes slash?"
