I've started out the new year with a new attitude about my health - and it feels good.

I'm working on cutting out the processed foods - and cooking meals with REAL inredients - not from a package.  I got a new healthy cookbook this week and I've picked three new recipes to try.

X - that is me crossing fingers that they turn out okay!

Congrats on the weight loss!

I've cut way back on processed foods and I do feel better. My incentive is that I don't want Justin to be eating that junk at home. I know he'll get it at school and the grandparents, but I can limit what he gets at home.

Dani - it is so good that you are starting now. I have some hope with Alaina because she is still young - but it is so hard to change the big girls eating habits at their age.

Thanks! This is my first week - so it is nice to see such a huge loss - it is a great motivator. I know each week won't be so much - but as long as I keep going down - I'll be happy.
