So what have I been amusing myself with lately, if not LJ?

Tor.com is trying to sell me things, but the process is enjoyable. Their feature-thingy on the Moon landing was especially good.
L.W. Currey led me to make several expensive mistakes. However, I am now the proud owner of more books.
And last but certainly not least, the Clarion West Readings.

I think the web development rule applies, but times two.

Take your estimate of how long it will take you to reach your goal, then quadruple it.

There was a miniseries of ST books (one each for TOS/TNG/DS9/VOY) where ansible communication came into play... interestingly enough, so did time travel (but they complement each other well). I liked it. The point is, we are all excited to someday perhaps be allowed to know more about your projects! This was a good start. :)
