I remember thinking, Don't apologize to us honey-child, save that for your father, because you just ruined a shiny Volvo, and his insurance rates just doubled. New drivers have to crash at least one car, so I have no idea why parents would let them have a nice auto, knowing it hasn't long to live even if the young person is careful. My first car was a $50 junker, and I smashity-smash-smashed it but good.

And the car, too, which has just totally vindicated QQguy's and your high opinion of it. :)
Will you think about selling it and getting something new(-er)? Or do you feel a loyalty to it that would make you feel guilty and lie awake nights thinking of the betrayed look on its bumper when you let someone else drive it away?

So I don't know if its loyalty so much as comfort with it, and a Pennsylvania Dutch thought, "hey, still works, why throw it out?"
