Against all the odds, today was a brilliant day!

 I just feel... really, strangely happy today! Bad and/or annoying and/or alarming stuff did happen today, but I still came out feeling really great!

First of all, it was a rainy and cloudy day. This dreary weather didn't really deter me: we don't get much rain around here (or, at least, not as much as I'd like to have), so it's always a novelty.
