I agree; off-island Sun is much easier to imagine with other characters. I can't figure out if that's just because she was married, or because she wasn't a globe-trotting assassin. Oh, those unanswerable questions in life ;)

Ah, this is gorgeous! I love the atmosphere, and I like the idea of Sun building this beautiful greenhouse and inviting Kate into it.
