I'm looking for new makeup colors to try out - especially eye and lip colors.

Skin Tone: Paaaaaale. Pink/red undertones, face on the somewhat ruddy side.
Eye Color: Medium gray-blue. (Bonus: dark hereditary eye-circles! GO ME!)
Hair Color: Somewhere between blonde & brown, never completely sure which side of the spectrum I fall on.

try what YOU like and what YOU feel comfortable in. take a few chances! maybe some nice olive-y green shadows and some semitransparent watermelon lip colors

People always tell me I'm too cautious. *sheepish* I ask around and spend hours reading/googling before I decide on things.

go to the drugstore and buy a bunch of really cheap like clearance makeup in fun colors so you can see what you like and what you don't like before it's already too late and you spent a considerable amount of money on it. you can always pair most crazy colors with brown and all of them with black.

Oh, I know. I've got Maybelline Super Stay concealer right now that seems to work - long-wear, so it doesn't fade as fast as the others in my price range that I've tried.

I'm always on the lookout for better products, but for now, it serves well enough to at least minimize the circles.

i use benefit boing in 01 cos its light, and perfect for my skintone. I can wear it without other make up and it looks natural. gives me a lil boost.

you could also try YSL touche eclat.

it will be worth it to invest in a good concealer.

When in doubt, get all earthtones; browns, nudes, mochas, etc. They are the most flattering on anyone.

I find that vibrant lip colours make my teeth look extra white.

It could very well be the shadows, but due to the nature of the darkness under your eyes extending up towards the brow bone, I've gotten the impression that you have possibly received two black eyes. I apologize if this is not the case. But if it is, I hope that you can prevent more from occurring. Like I said the picture is very shadowy, so I am aware that I may be reading way too much into it. I have your safety in mind at the expense of being tactful.

The room was shadowy when I took the picture and my eyes are pretty much always like that - it's hereditary. I understand and appreciate the concern, but it's nothing more than simple eye circles. Most of the women in my family have them and have to pile on the makeup to minimize the darkness.
