What to wear with this skirt?

I just bought this skirt from The Limited (cause it was cheaaaaaap), and I love it, but I'm not sure what to pair it with, without it looking too matchy matchy. It's still winter in Minnesota, so I'd be wearing it with tights to work.

I like the skirt. Personally, I think a turtleneck sweater would be a great match. Either black, gray or olive green. You can play around with the tights that you have, which you said was green & gray. Black tights won't hurt either. I think the booties would look cute, too.

If it were me, I would probably stick with a classic white button down shirt with a collar. Maybe one that has a little poof to the shoulders! I also like irishhh's idea of a turtle neck! Maybe a dark green or mustard color.

muted, neutral-warm colors with grey-purple undertones or forest green undertones, like grey-muave or grey-brown. maybe white, but not too bright white. nice button-down blouses with good detailing, maybe, like a peter pan collar or a bow at the neckline. i think it's easy to get matchy-matchy bc the plaid may be reminiscent of schoolgirl skirts if you're too starched-white-collar.

Me too. A fitted one, tucked in with a v-neck or a boat neck. But I don't really do muted colors.
