I'm thinking about buying a Mac when all of editorial switches over to Mac from PC.  I'd probably wind up getting an iMac, as I already have a laptop that is in OK shape.  I keep saying I'm going to get one.  Now I have a reason.  Everyone in publishing uses Mac.  I need to get myself on the same page.

I took today off.  I kinda needed it.  It's been a really stressful week.  The book I'm project-managing hit a few snags, so that took up most of my week.  Also, I had to get the contract going for my own book.  Next month is going to be hell on earth, as I'm getting the manuscripts for both books within three days of each other for almost instant ( Read more... )

Work closed early today, but I hit the trail about half an hour before they closed up shop.  It was NASTY going up the hill to my street this afternoon.  Two cars spun out.  I drove pretty slowly, but made it up with little to no problem.

Now it's raining.  Weird.  Gotta love the Shoreline and its rainy-snowy snowstorms.

I want Chinese food.
