This is a beatle_stamp themed application! Please stamp as any of the Beatles albums. 03. Which Beatle are you stamped as? The one and only John Lennon! <3
04. What’s your favorite Beatles album and why do you love it? Trickiest question on the application, aghg! If Let It Be... Naked were on the list, I would choose that, but since it's not an official album, I'll go with Magical Mystery Tour. Lately I've been more partial to Abbey Road, but MMT has sentimental value to me. I used to play it over and over again as a kid, and it gives me goosebumps whenever "Strawberry Fields" starts.
05. What’s your least favorite Beatles album and why? Revolver and Rubber Soul, for purely sentimental issues (that I should probably get over, I realize).
06. Besides the Beatles what other kind of music do you listen to? Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Flaming Lips, Joanna Newsom, Do Make Say Think, Animal Collective, Pixies, Genesis (before Gabriel left), Led Zeppelin, to name a few. I'm really partial to progressive and post-rock, as well as experimental music.
07. What is your favorite Beatle period (mop tops, psychedelic/late, post-Beatles, other)? Definitely the psychedelic/late Beatles, though I do love the solo works of John and George.
08. If you were a musician what kind of music would you play? Would it be mostly covers or original songs? Original songs with a few covers here and there. I really do love covers as long as they're not just copies of the original song and instead different renditions. My greatest musical ambition is to learn to play harp, and I enjoy playing piano (poorly) and singing.
09. What do you think are your top 5 positive traits? Whimsical, imaginative, eccentric, compassionate, adventurous.
10. What do you think are your top 5 negative traits? Awkward, restless, detached, weird, melancholic.
11. Do you work well in groups? Depends on the function of the group! In school I always prefer to work on my own, and I'm more of a "loner" than a social butterfly. I'm very cooperative and friendly, though, and if I'm comfortable in the group then I'm bound to work well with them!
12. Are you more of a perfectionist that takes time for every detail or would you rather throw things together more naturally? More impulsive as of late. My perfectionism is dying fast, and I'm sort of glad to be rid of it since it was more of a curse than a gift. I guess I'd like to say I'm in between both of those options - I take great care with my work and would never half-ass it, but I don't believe in killing myself over it either.
13. Is your personality/mood really random or pretty stable? This is hard for me to answer about myself! I think I'm pretty stable, personally. I'm calm and not prone to anger or anything. However, I have a sort of "silly switch" that causes me to burst out laughing at various times, and my imagination is anything but stable.
14. Do you think of yourself as a very creative innovative person or would you rather stick with the tried and true? Creative and innovative.
15. Are you lighthearted or more serious? Lighthearted mostly, though I know how and when to be serious.
16. Are you really talkative and extroverted or more quiet? I'm friendly but introverted! Quiet isn't the best way to describe me since if I have something to say, I'll say it. It's just that I don't feel the need to constantly be talking.
17. Do you respect authority or are you more of a rebel? Depends on the authority in question. I'll respect a competent leader I trust, but if they were corrupt, I would stand up for myself and my beliefs in a heartbeat.
