01. Name: Emma
02. Age: 20
03. Gender: Female
04. Location: Ottawa, Canada
05. Favorite Beatle: George
06. Least favorite Beatle: John sometimes bugs me how cynical he can be, but his quick wit makes up for it.
07. Which Beatle do you think you're most like and why? Hmmm... I'd say I'm similar to George because we're both quiet, contemplative, and don't need always be in the spotlight. He needed his privacy just as I need mine. I'm also like Ringo as I have a big heart.
08. Favorite Beatles song: A Day in the Life, When I'm 64, Old Brown Shoe, For You Blue, While my Guitar Gently Weeps (especially the LOVE version), Here Comes the Sun, Here, There and Everywhere, Michelle, I am the Walrus...I could go on...
09. Favorite Beatles album: Today it shall be Magical Mystery Tour :)
10. Describe your musical tastes (besides The Beatles): I've always loved classic rock. My parents were a big influence on me because they were teenagers in the 60s and played 'their' music while I was growing up. I've discovered that a lot of my favourite bands are English (to my father's delight), seeing as I love the Rolling Stones, the Who, Queen, the Animals, and so on. I'm getting into more of the older Rock and Roll/ Skiffle stuff now thanks to the Beatles and I am dying to get a Buddy Holly album. Today's music cannot compare to the music of yesteryear I find. These guys didn't need Autotune D:< Bah Humbug!
11. Your Strengths: I care a lot for the people around me, I'm organized, a good listener, observer, and am a warm and accepting individual.
12. Your Weaknesses: I get really quiet and edgy when under stress, I worry a lot, I seem aloof when with new people but I really just don't want to 'barge' in
13. Talents and/or things you enjoy doing even if you aren’t talented at them: I have a knack for getting a joke when no one else seems to, playing music (played trumpet for 8 years and now getting back into piano thanks to the Beatles music)
14. Are you a leader or a follower? For the most part, I'm usually a leader and can take a leadership role during a dire situation. But if someone 'fights' for the leadership role, I usually let them take it as to avoid unneeded conflict.
15. Are you serious or more of a jokester? More serious these days, but I can be a jokester when with the right people.
16. Are you a showman that loves the spotlight or more of a behind the scenes type person? I've been in the spotlight many times with theatre and music (monologues and trumpet solos) and I LOVE IT, but I don't have a need to always be in the spotlight.
17. What three things are most important to you in life? My family, creative freedom, and acceptance.
18. What makes you really respect a person? Humility. I don't like when people are continuously saying how awesome they are. If you truly are, we'll surely find out on our own!
19. What are your feelings on spirituality and religion? I was lucky enough to have been brought up in a very open environment. My parents aren't crazy religious, but mom believes in Jesus and being all cool and loving everyone and God (yeah, she was a 60's child for sure). I've found that I cannot stand organized religion as it seems to have lost its true underlying messages of love, peace, and unity and that religion itself is used by malicious people as a front to mask more devious acts and urges, such as the KKK in Christianity and even the Caste system in Hinduism. Basically all you need to do is learn to love your world and don't fret over the little things!
