bird intelligence
This article about Crows recognizing human faces is interesting, though not really a surprise to me. I've noticed for a long time that my birds respond differently to different people and will cautiously examine any visitor they haven't seen before. animal intelligence, birdsparental visits
Mom and Dad are coming down tomorrow (July 1 being a holiday up here) to see the house.
I was surprised when I called last night and Dad gave me a reasonably clear itinerary. I actually know when they are arriving, how many days they will be here, what they plan to see, etc.
