Christmas Meme:

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I use both, paper for square rectangular gifts, bags for anything non-euclidean in shape.
2. Real tree or artificial? artificial. I think it's wasteful to cut down a living tree to decorate for a week or two.

Mail or email Christmas cards

I've never seen an email Christmas card, which I guess is a good thing, because I would consider that beyond tacky. I think the ones where all someone does is sign their name, not even "Merry Christmas, 7ofclubs" to show they were actually thinking of me for one millisecond, are bad enough. But an email? The only message I would get from that would be "you aren't worth spending 41 cents on."

The whole email card thing hit it's peak a few years ago and seems to have subsided. I agree, it really is tacky.
