Know Your Pet

When I was very young, I remember my Dad selling these cute little pet care books published by Pet Library Ltd. The series was published back in the 70's and featured titles such as "Know Your Canary", "Know How to Set Up An Aquarium", "Know Your Collie" , and so on. A similar series of shorter books with the title "Enjoy Your (insert pet here)"

"Enjoy your Poodle" either sounds like something I'd run screming from, or like an asian food dish.

When I was a kid, I used to think the lady in the poodle one was grabbing the dog by the neck (actually, the dog is jumping and she's holding a stick).

The "Know Your Monkey" could easily be turned into "Spank Your Monkey". hehehe

I've never actually seen the monkey one, although I don't know how many people have ever kept monkeys as pets.

That would be cute, and I actually made an joke entry about that last year which someone-who-must-not-be-named found amusing. Is Arne good at photoshop kind of stuff?
