Only if your AMC Pacer is a clear plastic sphere with a lockable opening on one end.

I had a gerbil that we used to put in one of those balls. He loved zipping around the house, even when my little dog would bat him around a bit, and basically follow him everywhere trailing afterwards.

Hell, he even still loved going in it after discovering the stairs(!).
*bounce, bounce* *wack against wall* and of course the stairwell turned 3 or 4 times on it's way down so it was quite a trip!
