The thing I like about "manual" playing of instruments is the very fact that there are imperfections. If I listen to lots of purely sequenced music I find it too clinical and before long I yearn for somebody to pick up a guitar or drumsticks and actually do it for real, warts and all.

So stick with the guitar, practice, practice, practice. But please don't become perfect otherwise you might as well use the synthesiser for the guitar work.

Part of the fun of sequencing is making it not quite perfect, it's an art but I'm getting there slowly.
