So, stuff happened...

Thanksgiving went pretty well, the food and company were good, and I didn't overeat, even though there was a delicious, homemade pumpkin cheesecake. Go me! Unfortunately, when loading up the car with leftovers to come home, my driver's side rear window shattered when I bumped it with my mighty elbow. Sadly, there are no local supplies of Subaru ( Read more... )

Well, you're a bit far into this season of Fringe to start, and Burn Notice, while fun, is also at least two episodes in. American Top Gear? Don't know how I feel about that one. Human Target? Mythbusters? I guess it depends on how hard a show you want, and scripted vs minimally scripted.

Well, I'm already watching Fringe, and I haven't deleted this season's episodes. I'm also watching Burn Notice, but I have been deleting those as I've watched them. I've seen ep. 1 of American Top Gear, and I have #2 on the DVR. It's no really shaken down yet, but I'm willing to give it a chance. Mythbusters seems to have jumped the shark, and their experimental procedures give me "shout at the TV" syndrome on occasion. Especially when testing firearm myths. I don't know anything about Human Target.

Human Target (based, vaguely, on a comic book) is similar in tone to Burn notice, except it's "bodyguard who fixes your problem while trying to redeem himself" rather than "chipper ex-spy who fixes your problem while trying to get back into spying". So, fewer tips than Burn Notice, but more guns and beating.

Gus tried to meow?!?!? Not just a half-distracted squeak when she gets really excited?

You have such quiet cats.
I'm sure I'd like watching Fringe with a group. When does White Collar or Covert Affairs start up again?

I think White Collar and Royal Pains start back up in January. I think the current plan may be to acquire the first season of Fringe and watch a couple of episodes of that a week.

No reality shows? But I know you'd enjoy watching Sarah Palin's show.

That much eye rolling can't be good for anyone.
