So, I'm riding to work on the brand new loaner BMW motorcycle, and I get to about I-40 and Walker when it starts surging and bucking really badly. Boo, hiss again.

Does sound like the side-stand cut-out, though, as you mention in the next post. Experience with the F650 boards suggest that BMW's got a history of trouble with those.
