Peter sat down at his battered kitchen table with quill, inkpot and three pieces of parchment.

His first note was for Blanche.

A disgruntled-looking Norman arrived half an hour later with Hex's reply.

Hey Pete.

I'm free anytime during the day, I just need to be at work by 7 pm. (Hey, maybe you guys could visit the club or something afterwards?) So let me know when you want to go and where we should meet, and I'll be there.

Peter's reply read:

Hi Hex,

Glad that you can join us. Let's make it this Thursday - meet you (and everyone else) in the entrance hall of Number 13 at 10 AM. Will that give you enough time to rest from work?

Hex's reply, scrawled on the back of Peter's note, read simply:

I'm there, dude.

Aurora visited Peter's flat to deliver Maeve's reply.

Dear Peter,

Thank you for the invitation :) I was hoping you hadn't forgotten about the outing. I'm free at any time and looking forward to a less problematic visit to Muggle London!

I hope Thursday at 10 AM is all right with you. We meet in the entrance hall in Number 13.

And there was an note sent back with Gryffudd that read:

Peter dear,

Any time would be lovely. Just let me know--I'm free all week, and would love to go out. I'm looking forward to it.

Peter tried hard to keep the blush and silly smile off his face as he read and replied to Blanche's note. His reply read:

Dear Blanche,

I hope Thursday at 10 AM is all right with you. I've arranged to meet Hex and Maeve in the entrance hall of Number 13. Would you like to meet us there, too, or have us get you in Number 12?

And there's a reply, with the next owl.

Peter dear,

Thursday at 10 sounds lovely, and I shall come to you. See you then!

Peter emerged from his ground-floor flat at ten minutes to 10 AM that Thursday morning. They had agreed on 10 AM, but as the one who basically organized the outing, he felt that he should be there a bit early.

Blanche headed over shortly before ten, hoping he'd be there early. She was wearing a hat and carried sunglasses in her hand, to be put on later, as well as a blue coat buttoned to the top--not precisely a disguise, but she also didn't really want to call attention to herself.

"Good morning, Peter," she said shyly.

"Oh, hullo, Blanche," Peter replied, smiling when he saw her. "Nice, er, hat."

[blanche_malfoy]

"It's not really me, but I figure it might at least hide my hair a little."

Dratted Malfoy hair...

She smiled up at him and put her hand in his. "How are you? It's amazing how we live so close still but we get so busy and keep missing each other."

She doesn't want to be so busy as to keep missing him. She's very much looking forward to being with her friends.

Hex led the way out the door, locking it behind them when they were all out in the street.

"Where do we go first?" he asked, looking at his companions.

"Could we go to Diagon Alley first?" Maeve requested. "I need to go to Gringott's."

"I do not see why not. I wonder if the best way to go isn't the Knight bus...or shall we walk?"

"Let's take the bus," Hex suggested. "We'll be doing a lot of walking around later anyway."
