Thank you!

I had forgotten how melodramatic the conversations were until I read a couple of the books last night. So many exclamations! :)

Heee, thank you. Would you believe I did RESEARCH? I can't read Nancy Drew books anymore. They kill my childhood memories and make me lose all respect for my little six-year-old self.

I remember being so terrified by the clock one that I wouldn't touch them for years. Also she really annoyed me even when I was a kid because she was always, like, changing her dress before dinner and crap. SO LAME!!

Did you ever make it to The Ghost of Blackwood Hall? That one creeped me out for *years*.

And heee, there's one (I think it might be The Hidden Staircase) where a luncheon meal includes a dessert of "fruit-flavored gelatin" -- "jello" apparently not having made it into generic usage yet.

The thing that bugged me the most, actually, was that the color of her hair wasn't consistent from cover to cover.

Heee, thank you. I had to read a couple of books last night to get the style down, so I'm especially glad that part worked. :)
