Summary: Hermione in exile.

Note: this takes place shortly after annakovsky's All Too Sweet To Last. It's probably a good idea to read that first, or you'll be wondering why Hermione has a skateboard.

I'm convinced that the antennae and the Xom and Lale's HP/BtVS stuff all exist more or less in the same nebulous universe. Um, somehow.

And of COURSE there is Malfoy -- I wanted to make sure you didn't kill him. (Speaking of which, I un-killed Giles just for you.)

So, yeah. Can't comment on Dawn, as I am a Buffyvirgin. But Broken!Skater!Hermione is lovely. And her complete dissociation from her previous life rings very true.

So much for Gryffindor bravery -- but she stopped being a Gryffindor on the day she blew up Hogwarts. There are no Gryffindors anymore.

Which reminds me! Veronica Mars is now airing on CTV, though I'm not sure of the day/time. I think you missed the first episode, but the TWoP recaps for this series are *excellent* (Couch Baron thinks it's awesome, so the snark is loving), and you haven't miss much that won't be recapped later in the season anyway. And also, it's an awesome show. (At the very least, you should watch whenever they show episode 10, because there's strip poker with pretty boys.)
