I just read a really beautiful piece of McKay/Sheppard fiction by ladycat777 titled " The Principle Business of Life" and, having just re-watched Season 1, particularly Childhood's End, the fic made me wonder how Rodney would fare when meeting civilizations/races that are of non-ancient descent.
