Eddy and I have a new apartment! It is smaller than what we have now, more expensive but it is in the city, about 5 minutes from my work. It is along the Rotte, looking out on it. From the backs of the rooms only water and the opposite shore is visible.
I am excited and slightly terrified. We get the keys this week.

Oh, a teacher of mine found the pages to a book I made recently and thought I had an alter-ego and then told Eddy he always knew I wasn't that netjes. [polite, decent, respectable]

Last night I made lavender-scented brownies--I have a teacher coming today to look at my work. I salvaged a wonderful cabinet from a retirement home and as Eddy and I were about to leave a woman rushed out and told us that it had been in her parent's home since she was a small child- adding a layer of responsibility I hadn't expected. I feel better about the project. They are just too disjointed and spread out to make us feel good.

I tried a hair-removal cream. I hadn't tried it for around 10 years and couldn't remember why I had only tried it once when it worked so well for my sister. Maybe because it doesn't work on me.
