This is mostly copied from my post to the NortheastAsatru Yahoo! Group.  Apologies to those who may have already read it there.

I had a great time!  From arrival and setting-up camp on Thursday to tear-down and reluctant departure on Sunday, it was grand both in scale and inspiration.

The Landvaettir Blót on Thursday was especially meaningful and ( Read more... )

Brilliant!

I knew you would hve a good time. Hopefully I can go to the one next year. I'd like, with your permission of course, to repost this on the neheathen.org site.

Btw, will you be able to attend the Provincial meeting on sept 20th?

Thank you, Anna! Certainly, you may repost. I had no phone service at Netimus, so I just got your text when I got around to turning my phone back on today. If you look at my post on the NortheastAsatru Yahoo! Group, I included a link to a few pics I took (mostly of the Uppsala Vé, Freyja Vé, usw). Feel free to use any of those if you'd like, as well. I can't imagine anyone objecting, as there are no pics of individual attendees.

Just looked at the calendar, and Sept. 20th is a Saturday which means I'm scheduled to work. I'll do some asking around to see if I can find anyone willing to take my hours for that day, but as you know I've not had much success with that in the past. Bloody-damned 3:00AM starts!

Yes I work on Saturdays too, I had requested leave for that day. I also requested leave for the 19th so I can go to the pubmoot at CC O'Briens. Luckily I got them both approved, otherwise I would have to look for someone to switch shifts with me like you.

Buona Fortuna and Wassail!

And you! I wish we'd gotten to talk more. Out of everyone there, I'd only met ONE person before. So MANY new and interesting folk at once, and so much going on! A little overwhelming at times, that. I am truly so glad I was able to attend. Already looking forward to next year, and to other "face-to-face" opportunities between now and then when they arise.

I heard the ECT was wonderful this year, as it frequently is. Glad you had a good time.

It truly was, and I truly did! It's hard to believe it was a week ago today that I was setting up camp at ECT. Four fantastic days at ECT, then the rest of the week getting caught up on stuff here at home... the time has flown! I'm already looking forward to ECT '09, and I really, REALLY would like to make it out to Colo. next Middansumer for the GFS Folk Moot if I can coordinate it with my vacation time. Maybe I'll see you there!
