[The comm turns on and she's humming softly to herself, the tune might sound familiar to those from good ol' Earth. She then starts to sing the song. Her tune is a bit off, but she's not terrible... though it's obvious that English isn't her first or best language as she mispronounces things here and there as she goes along. But all in all, anyone ( Read more... )

no place like home, trying to keep cheerful, over the rainbow, serizawa

[She's smiling sadly at this, and feels really bad. Poor little Hikari.]

I tried too, I guess we really do need red shoes, hm?

I'm happy people liked it.

Maybe I should sing at the Northern Lights while serving food and 'battery acid'. [She chuckles softly.]

Are you doing okay? [Is still worried about him.]

I'd have to come and cheer you on. [he gives a very weak laugh, but it's a laugh.]

I'm okay. Yeah. [He hasn't been out of their apartment since she brought him there from the hospital.]

[She laughs a little with him. She can tell he's really bothered since after coming back from the hospital... she can't honestly blame him. She only wishes she could better help him, but not knowing exactly what he's going through, she can't.]

... [She's not sure if she should just say 'that's good' or try to get him to talk more about it. But then she remembers something.]

Oh! [Moving back into the bedroom, she comes back out a few minutes later with an armful of a few different shirts. She found them in the closet and washed them with her shampoo (yay item rain) and aired them out a little so they wouldn't smell as musty. If anything they smell a little fruity from the shampoo now.]

I found these in the closet. I cleaned them so don't mind the girly smell on them. [She smiles, and offers them to Naoto.]

Oh, what a wonderful song, from such a considerate and beautiful young lady.

[She's blushing, and doesn't know this voice so is a little confused about them speaking to her like this. It's like in the movies with the really handsome men with their terrible pick up lines.]

Thank you? I'm glad you liked it... um, I don't think we've talked before? I'm Shiori.

[Hey, his pick-up lines aren't terrible.]

We haven't. I would remember your lovely voice. On top of that, I've newly arrived.

Touga Kiryuu. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Shiori.

[Yes they are. They're Magoichi quality terrible.]

Oh um... well thank you? Oh! I hope you've found some place to stay. It's really dangerous outside right now. Please don't go out alone.

It's nice to meet you too.

Well you know, it's not always about being able to sing good. Just that you have fun doing it.

Thank you, Tsuzuki-san. [It wasn't her intention to get praised so much for her voice. She never thought it was anything special, just that she never broke glass with it. She just felt that the song was appropriate for everything going on lately.]

Songs are good for times like this... they have a nice healing quality to them.

They do. It's nice to hear something relaxing over the network for once...

[He laughed softly.]

How is Serizawa? He seemed... pretty broken up about what happened.

Mm. I agree.

... I think he's really scared and bothered by what happened to him. I really can't blame him... it was... it was so horrible... it's different when you see someone dead, or watch them die. Actually experiencing it and then coming back after, I can't even imagine how that's like.
